I absolutely love this program! My four kids have participated in this program with Sensei James for the past 15 years. We now have 3 black belts and 1 red belt who can’t wait to earn his black belt. My kids have received so much more than just knowledge of karate. My kids have been lucky enough to learn many life lessons through this program such as, how to be more confident, realizing that they have a voice and how to use it, they’ve learned what hard work is, they have learned what it means to accomplish something by yourself, they’ve learned to be accountable, the importance of listening and just be still and in the moment, they have learned to be more aware, they learned to protect themselves, but most of all they have learned gratefulness and to appreciate the people in their lives. My kids have definitely received much more than I could have ever believed they would or could have hoped for and for that I’m truly humbled.
Sensei James is not only an exceptional karate Instructor but truly cares about each and every child as his own. His passion for the art of karate as well as joy of teaching really is the reason why this program stands out as one of the best.
